Pool Coating - Swimming Pool paint
Retek Pool coating is an polyamide epoxy designed for use in concrete swimming pools. This system will smooth and fill the rough surfaces of concrete that makes cleaning easy. It also protects concrete surfaces that can deteriorate from exposure to weather, water and chemicals.
Pool Coating - Surface Preparation
- Mix 350ml Retek Algae treat in 20lt water.
- Use a scrub brush to scrub the surface with solution.
- Rinse off the residue with clean water right after scrub.
- Make sure the solution does not dry on the surface.
- Make sure the pool is dry before acid etching.
- Mix 10% pool acid with water in plastic bucket.
- Roll the acid solution on surface with paint roller, rinse the surface with clean water.
- Wash the pool surface a second time with clean water.
- Make sure the pool is dry and clean before coating starts.
Pool Coating Application
- Mix part A separately, then add part B and mix thoroughly.
- Use epoxy roller.
- Cover ± 3m²/kg at 50 microns dry film thickness.
- If necessary two coats.
- Drying time 24 Hours at 25ºC
Pool Coating Clean up
Clean rollers and equipment with Retek Thinners 30.
Pool Coating Drying Time
Fill pool with water after 7 Day’s.
